The interdisciplinary system of Latin United states & Latino/a Studies (LALS) fosters an abundant and critical knowledge of Latin America, including Brazil as well as the Hispanic Caribbean, in its sense that is broadest. Latin American & Latino/a Studies Training Goals

The LALS Program has four goals that are primary its pupils:

The Minor in Latino/a Studies

The small in Latino/a studies comprises of six courses (24 credits) emphasizing key intellectual and methodological capabilities: experience of the provided, transnational records of Latin and Latino/a America; critical engagement with Spanish being a language of idea and social manufacturing; a provided, intellectual and interdisciplinary experience with a community of majors and minors within the system.

Required Core
